Whitby Steampunk Weekend is a rather splendid affair indeed, with a cornucopia of delightful indulgences and fanciful extravagances for all your sumptuous decadent desires, dreams and purchasing or participating pleasures within the beautiful Whitby Pavilion.
Whitby Steampunk Weekend began in 2017. It is one of larger Steampunk gatherings in the U.K., and it’s certainly one of the friendliest. It is family friendly and completely free daytime entry for you to enjoy all what is on offer!
February 2022 Extravaganza
Another exciting event is in store in February with a number of activities, presentations, practical workshops and demonstrations lined up. As always, there’s also the most fabulous Steampunk Retail Emporium, opening Sat 12th 10 – 5, and Sun 13th Feb 10 – 4. There’s even free parking around too on the West Cliff (please note some side street restrictions may apply).
Come on down and be astonished and amazed by a glorious gallimaufry of glamorous gorgeousness, a teaming torrent of tempting titbits, our Splendid Sellers and our colourful Courtesans of Couture!
For the perspicacious amongst our costumed corseted collective, you will be truly surprised and amazed of the quality of accessories, apparel and accoutrements on offer from our manufacturers of magnificent merchandise.
Around 70 purveyors of the finest quality merchandise have also been carefully selected for you to peruse, ponder, and purchase. You might even find something you want to wear on the day! Add in the live entertainment and a truly wonderfully splendid experience awaits.
Every Whitby Steampunk Weekend has evening entertainment lined up too. There are concerts and comedy evenings, and a Themed Ball held in the beautiful surroundings of The Met Ballroom.
